Starting Rate for 2026-27 TBD + Bonus Potential

We have up to 65-75 positions to offer in our packhouse in Bannockburn.

Jobs include: infeed, grading, boxing, packaging and coolstore.

We expect packhouse work to start TBD 2026 and finish in late January 2027. Fixed term employment agreements are offered with variable hours including weekends.

A loyalty bonus of $1.50 per hour can be earnt by completing your fixed term contract and achieving a minimum attendance rate.

Bucket tippers

As a bucket tipper you are responsible for tipping the cherries into the machine.

Line Staff - Grading

Grading is a very important position and it requires a high level of attention and concentration. Graders swap between grading and packing to get a chance to re-focus.

Line Staff - Packing

There are different stations for packing the cherries into various types of packaging including 1kg, 2kg and 5kg boxes as well as punnets.

Box Makers

Box makers prepare the boxes with liners and soaker pads and have them ready for the packers.

Coolstore Staff

Coolstore Staff need to stack the boxed cherries onto pallets and then wrap up the pallets and get them ready for the truck. Another important part of the role is to ensure that each box is scanned onto the pallet for full traceability.
